The first graph describes the default bandwidth of an SSB filter, all controls off. The second graph displays the effect of Low and High cut controls on two tunes interfering with a signal yellow in the center of the passband.
The fourth graph displays two interferences on the same frequency as the signal. In playing cleverly with these controls you can reject all residual RFI and noise.
